The economy loop

TallyWorld blends soft-currency grinding with on-chain ownership. Gather materials in the wild, forge permanent power, then trade surplus at town brokers and player markets.

01

Gather

Fish ponds and rivers, chop trees, mine rock and crystal, harvest regrowing crops on your plots, and loot scrap from defeated foes. Every yield is server-validated.

02

Forge

Visit Bruno at Ember Alley Smithy in Tally Town — spend scrap and crystal for permanent stat upgrades (damage, defense, max HP, fire-rate), craft weapons at the bench, and equip them on your hero.

03

Trade

Turn surplus into value at Mara's Block & Barrel — the ◆ Commodity Exchange for live spot prices, plus a separate Item Market for player listings — and the on-chain plot marketplace.

Own land, earn rewards

Land is more than a status symbol — it's your income stream. Claim parcels from a ~2,866-plot quadtree. Pricing is dynamic based on parcel size and market conditions, develop them with crops and structures, then monetize through the marketplace.

  • Crop yields — Plant wheat, carrots, tomatoes, berries, pumpkins, or saplings. Harvest for ◆ merits, wood, or fish — crops regrow automatically every 2.5–5.5 minutes.
  • Build & develop — Place structures, walls, floors, furniture, decor, and lights on your land. Every build earns +1 TP.
  • Sell or lease — List your plot for sale or lease it to other players on the on-chain marketplace. 5% protocol fee, 50% burned.
  • Harvest Pool — Earn +5 TP per plot claimed, +1–2 TP per crop harvest. Sacrifice TP daily for a share of the $TALLY Harvest Pool.

Meet your broker

Mara at Block & Barrel runs two markets: the ◆ Commodity Exchange (server-tracked spot prices — buy low, sell high) and the separate Item Market ( / ◆ P2P listings). Pair both with Quill's Order Board (job deliveries for TP and ◆ merits) and the plot market on the World Map.

  • Mara at Block & Barrel runs the ◆ Commodity Exchange — live spot prices, limit orders, and a 60-minute chart for wood, fish, rock, crystal, and scrap.
  • The Item Market is a separate Mara menu — list stackable mats and potions for or ◆ merits; buyers pay sellers with a 5% protocol fee.
  • The General Store and town shopkeepers sell basics; Mara is TallyWorld's broker for player-driven prices.
  • Plot sales settle in on-chain; merit commodity trades stay off-chain and server-audited.

Trust & safety

Why it's safe

Server-validated inventory

The world server is the system of record. TP, merits, inventory, and marketplace escrows only change after the server confirms a real gameplay action — the client cannot mint rewards.

No duping

On-chain payments use idempotent signature and action-id guards. Listings escrow seller inventory; buys credit the buyer once or refund on failure — the same pattern as plot marketplace trades.

Burn + treasury split

Every $TALLY sink splits payment: 50% is burned (supply removed) and the remainder refills the treasury that funds the daily Harvest Pool — sized so emission stays below modeled inflow.
