Skills & Professions
Six gathering and combat professions, level bonuses, and where to view them.

Beyond hero level, TallyWorld tracks six profession skills — Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, Smithing, Building, and Combat. Each skill levels from +0 to +50 with its own XP bar. The world server is authoritative: XP is granted when you fish, chop, mine, craft, build, or kill — not from client guesses.
Where to see skills
- Open your Profile from the dock. The SKILLS section sits between APPEARANCE and PROGRESS.
- Each row shows the skill name and level as Fishing +5 (the +N is your current level). A gold bar tracks XP toward the next level; hover text lists active bonuses.
- Inspect another player online to see their top three skills by level under their name and rank.
Earning skill XP
- Fishing — land a catch (bigger hauls pay bonus XP).
- Woodcutting — chop a tree.
- Mining — break a rock or crystal node with the pickaxe.
- Smithing — craft a weapon at the forge or apply a forge upgrade.
- Building — place a structure on land you own or rent.
- Combat — defeat an enemy in the overworld or a turn-based battle.
Level bonuses
Higher levels unlock practical perks — not just bragging rights. Bonuses cap at skill level 50.
- Fishing — shorter bite wait and better odds for rare fish.
- Woodcutting — faster chop time (up to −40%).
- Mining — extra chance for bonus crystal or scrap drops (up to +50%).
- Smithing — lower forge material costs (up to −40%, minimum 1 of each mat).
- Building — bonus Tally Points when you place structures (up to +8 TP per place).
- Combat — mirrors your kill progression; levels reflect how much you fight.
